Welcome to the website of Andromeda Freeman, an aspiring Educator. I have a four and a half year old son who is the spirited light of my world. Before he was born, I went through three other majors (psychology, communication arts, and computer science) through which I discovered that the shared area between them is my love for learning. I have interests in so many areas that I believe education is the perfect way to explore these topics by teaching them to others. This interest combined with my love for children motivated me to pursue teaching as a career. I began by taking a few courses through Collin College in education and fell in love. Through education I have found a way to make an impact on others and inspire them to achieve, to learn, and to think.

I enjoy volunteer work and community service; recently I have spent time working with Allen Community Outreach where I was responsible for making their applications paperless and helped with their GED program, serving the Allen, McKinney, and Wylie area. I find it rewarding to work with others and see them overcome hardships and accomplish their goals.

I have recently completed my Student Teaching at McClure Elementary in McKinney ISD, and cannot wait to begin my journey as a full time educator!
